This leather hand bag is meticulously handcrafted using traditional techniques and hand-stitched with durable waxed thread for long-lasting strength. The rolled straps pass through the top flap for secure closure and a refined profile.

Made from the finest full-grain leather from J&FJ Baker of Devon, this hide is oak-bark tanned for over 14 months to increase durability and then hand-dyed with a blend of natural oils and greases, so each piece develops its own unique character. Originally produced for carriage hoods, the leather is soft and tactile yet highly resilient. The interior is lined with a flesh coloured vegetable tanned leather, to give a light backdrop to your essentials, with solid brass feet to ensure the bottom of your bag stays off of the floor.

Designed to be the perfect occasion bag, or daily, because why wait for an occasion for a bag this gorgeous to carry.

I only use the highest grade of leather, full grain leather that will display natural imperfections such as marks, scars and character from the hand dying processes, making each piece truly unique.

Everything I make is entirely handmade by me with locally, ethically sourced and sustainably tanned leather and materials with a focus on traditional craftsmanship, quality and longevity. Using traditional saddlery techniques and saddle stitching which ensures a stronger, more durable stitch than machine stitching, as it creates a knot with every stitch.
