FAQ

  • Where does the leather you use come from?

The leather that I use comes from exclusively UK tanneries, that are using sustainable practices. The leather comes from cows, goats and sheep that are part of the meat industry, making the leather a by-product that would be destined for landfill if it was not made into leather.

  • Is leather durable?

Leather is an incredibly durable material, that gains character as it is used and ages. Leather is also repairable and easily repurposed. All of my products come with a lifetime guarantee on all stitching and hardware, so that your bag or wallet can last a lifetime.

  • What is full grain leather?

Full-grain leather is the highest-quality leather type you can buy. Made from the top layer of the animal hide, it encompasses the richness, depth, and durability of natural leather hide. The most significant distinction of full-grain leather is that it does not undergo a finishing, sanding, or buffing process.

  • How do I care for my bag?

I have a care & maintenance page here but caring for your bag is easy and does not require expensive products. A wipe with a dry cloth and annual feeding with a leather balm is all that is needed.

  • Do you do repairs?

Yes, I take on repairs of bags and other leather items, I also offer repairs to items purchased from me - accidents happen and pets can chew! Please contact me and we can discuss if I can help.

  • Do you do custom orders?

I love to work with my customers to create the bag of their dreams. If you have an idea in mind, whether it is a specific colour combination on a current design or you have your own design that you would like to bring to life. I would love to help! Message me here and we can start working on your perfect bag.
